Bill
Walker, SNP MSP for Dunfermline, has welcomed the Scottish Government’s
announcement on Monday of its continued commitment to the Forth Replacement
Crossing. He said: “The new bridge is vital to secure transport links, not only
for those commuting to work and for tourism, but for the Scottish economy as a
whole. The current bridge is no longer suitable as a main crossing over the
Forth, due to wear and tear.
